The Privilege to Grieve is a collection of essays and poetry which invites the reader to accompany Wright on her grief journey after the loss of her child Milo who was 24 years old. She began writing in the first hours after Milo died while her husband drove to pick up their son from college. The book ends almost a decade later. Throughout, she used art, community, and a new awareness to process the loss.

Milo Writes is a powerful collection of poetry written over the all too brief lifetime of Milo/Allegra Wright. This intimate collection contains their insights into balancing health, expectations, fashion, culture, connections, rejections and basic survival with fierceness, humor, hope and resilience.

A collection of short stories and poems which all have someone's mother as a central character. These mothers run the gamut from nurturing, aloof, scary, stressed, loving, and cold as ice, just like in real life.
